Barnham is a semi-rural village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Barnham and Eastergate, in the Arun district of West Sussex, England, centred about five miles (8 km) north of Bognor Regis. On 1 April 2019 the parish was merged with Eastergate to form "Barnham and Eastergate". Barnham is listed in the Domesday Book of 1086 as having a mill, a church and 24 households, and woodland, plough land and meadows. It retains some of its rich agricultural history, having had very little woodland for many centuries, and gently rolling cereal fields and pasture instead.
